The 2023 Swift Campout was a practice in using resources the company had on hand in our warehouse. This was partially out of necessity and also to push ourselves to be smart and efficient considering the inventory of fabric we had in the warehouse from previous collections. We also just so happened to have a talented illustrator on our marketing team at the time who agreed to jump on as the artist for this collection, which was a blast for me since we already had great working relationship.
The goals for this collection:
prioritize using fabrics that are sitting in stock at Swift already to create a
use unique colors that stand out, feel fresh and are cohesive throughout the full collection
focus on smaller, lower price point yet versatile bags
work with in-house artist
2-3 bags, 3-5 resale items
Initial brainstorm ideas:
playful, colorful
90’s cartoon aesthetic for the branding
pops of fresh color trims
mixed fabrics
stick with classic cycling resale accessories
